Third party liability

This is a mandatory cover, by law. It means that we will pay for property damage done to other cars or objects and body injuries caused to other people, as long as you are responsible for these incidents. The limit of cover is set by law (€1,300,000 from January 2022).

Damages from uninsured vehicle

We cover damage (up to €15,000 or the amount stated in your policy as the insured capital if it's smaller than €15,000) caused to your car by an uninsured vehicle. For this to happen, the driver must have accepted liability or their liability must be proven by public documents such as a copy of the accident book of the traffic police.It must also be confirmed by the information centre of the subsidiary fund that the vehicle was indeed uninsured when the accident occurred.

Driver's personal accident

We provide you with financial assistance (up to €15,000) if you have an accident that you're responsible for and, as a result, you become permanently partially or totally disabled.

Accident guidance and transportation

We have a 24-hour, 365 hotline. In case of an accident, you call us and we guide you through the next steps. We will record the incident either by phone or with a partner who will come to your aid. Furthermore, if your car needs towing and you are in Greece, one of our partners from INTERSALONIKA will take care of the transport.

Reinbursement outside of friendly settlement

We will compensate you for an accident that happens through no fault of your own with an insured vehicle, even if the damage or bodily injury is not covered by the friendly settlement. We cover up to €6,500 for property damage and up to €30,000 for bodily injury to the driver and passengers.

Natural phenomena (including hail)

We compensate you for the damages that will be caused to your car by floods, storms, hail, thunderstorms, hurricanes, and tornadoes. The compensation will not exceed the amount stated in your policy as the insured capital. In the case of hail damage, the compensation will not exceed €2,000. To be eligible for this cover, you must report the damage within 8 days from the moment it occurs, and the damage amount must exceed the deductible. The deductible is the amount you have to pay for the damage. To activate the cover we may request a certificate from the National Meteorological Service.

Fire from terrorists actions and riots

We cover damages to your car from a fire resulting from terrorist acts, political unrest, or uprisings. The compensation will not exceed the amount stated in your policy as the insured capital.

Partial theft

Partial theft means we'll compensate you if something is stolen from your car. This applies to essential car components necessary for its operation, like wheels. Additionally, we cover damages done to the car body by someone who attempts to break into it, except for cabriolet hoods. We also cover audio systems, GPS, child seats, cabin vandalism, and damages that occur while the thief has possession of your car. The compensation amount won't exceed the sum stated in your policy as the insured capital. For the cover to apply, the damage amount must exceed the deductible. The deductible is the amount you need to pay for the damage.

Full theft

Full theft means we'll compensate you if your car is stolen. To proceed with the claim, you must (a) report the theft to the appropriate law enforcement agency, (b) report the theft to us, (c) wait for up to 60 days, and (d) be informed by the police that your car hasn't been recovered. The compensation amount won't exceed the sum specified in your policy as the insured capital.

Fire

We'll compensate you for damage to your car from a fire, lightning, explosion, or arson. The compensation amount won't exceed the sum specified in your policy as the insured capital.

Car replacement

We provide you with a category A car if yours is stolen or damaged by fire. We'll give it to you until we compensate you or repair the physical damage, for a maximum of 20 days.

Own damages

We compensate you for damages caused to your car due to a collision, impact, skid, rollover, or falling off the road in an accident for which you are at fault. Additionally, we cover damages that occur during the transportation or while your car is stored in a secure facility. The compensation amount won't exceed the sum specified in your policy as the insured capital. For this cover you may choose a deductible between €500 and €2,000. The deductible is the amount you need to pay for the damage.

Malicious acts

We compensate you for physical damages intentionally caused to your car by another individual. To activate the cover, the damage must exceed the deductible. The deductible is the amount you need to pay for the damage. The compensation amount won't exceed the sum specified in your policy as the insured capital.

Glass

We cover the repair or replacement of your car's glass, including the windshield, side windows, or the factory-fitted sunroof. If you choose one of our partner garages for the work:

  • In case they use their own replacement parts, you won't have any expenses.
  • In case you prefer to use factory-fitted replacement parts, your contribution to the costs will be 25% of the parts' cost.

On the other hand, if you opt for a different garage, your contribution to the expenses will be 25% of the total cost. The compensation amount won't exceed the sum specified in your policy as the insured capital. Additionally, we may request photos or videos of your car for pre-inspection purposes.

You can cancel the other contract at any time. You simply contact the insurance company, tell them you wish to cancel and ask them to refund the difference.

Of course, and you can do it for free. All you have to do is get a car insurance and tick the option “Do you want insurance for your trailer?”. You will find said option at the last step of the checkout.

This is the amount you have to pay in the event of a covered damage. For example, if your vehicle is damaged by “Natural phenomena” and the cover is included in your contract, then: let’s say it costs €600 to repair the damage. You pay the €300 (which is the waiver for this particular coverage) and we pay the rest of the amount.

Not all our coverages have waivers. Still, in those that do, the waiver can either remain constant or, in some cases, fluctuate.

However, you should remember that by changing the waiver, you affect the amount of the final premium. That is, the smaller the waiver, the higher the premiums! Also, if the cost of your damages does not exceed the waiver, then the coverage is not activated.
If you choose to have the damage repaired by our partner garages, you get an exclusive 50% discount on the waivers of specific coverages: natural phenomena, partial theft, malicious acts, own damages.

Probably because its cost is higher than the amount we have chosen as a limit. If you added it it would raise the cost of your contract by a lot.

What you can do, if it’s offered for your car, is to choose the Own damages plan, which includes this specific coverage.

If the main driver does not change, you simply send us an email with the new registration, so we can add the new owner’s details to your contract. This can have a cost per case.

However, if the main driver also changes, then we will need to terminate your contract. You will then need to take out a new insurance with the details of the new owner and driver.
