Do I need to send documents in order to insure my home?

Prev Next

Usually no, unless certain conditions apply.

More specifically, during the quotation process, we’ll ask you for some basic details about your home. If the property:

  1. was built before 1960

  2. is not constructed with reinforced concrete

  3. has undergone any modifications/regularisations

  4. does not have a flat roof or tiled roof

then you’ll need to provide supporting documents, such as:

  1. Building permit

  2. Engineer’s certificate

  3. Structural study (if available)

  4. Legalization documents (if modifications were made)

Our underwriting team will review these documents to determine whether we can proceed with an offer.
